Dear CRAHD Chairman Smith:
CRAHD Director Jim Monopoli is in violation of Connecticut Public Health Code Section 19-13-B103c(f), he's specifically evading his responsibility here; "he shall investigate and cause the abatement of this condition." Monopoli, in 17+ months, hasn't done anything to cause the abatement of the condition that he alleges to be occuring on our property, 13 George Drive, Old Saybrook, according to his Order of 18Jul2013.
LAW VIOLATIONS: Town of Old Saybrook Wastewater Upgrade Program Standards Section 3C., 3A iii. and 3D ii.). The Connecticut Public Health Code Section 19-13-B103c(f).
- Jim Monopoli, Order, 18Jul2013
No sewage shall be allowed to discharge or flow into any storm drain, gutter, street, roadway or public place, nor shall such material discharge onto any private property so as to create a nuisance or condition detrimental to health. Whenever it is brought to the attention of the local director of health that such a condition exists on any property, he shall investigate and cause the abatement of this condition.
"[H]e SHALL investigate and CAUSE THE ABATEMENT of this condition.”
"Unfortunately, but realistically, health expectations beyond the individual, such as safe food, air, water, and disease control, are often viewed as a passive endeavor for many people, ...."
- Jim Monopoli, Director of Health
Unfortunately, one of those 'passive' people is Jim Monopoli, Director of Health.
Jim Monopoli isn't doing his job as required by PHC 19-13-B103c(f). Why is Jim Monopoli still employed by CRAHD?
Very truly yours,
Joel R. Anderson
